Labor k3000 was founded 1989 by a group of artists, activists, electronic musicians, graphic and multimedia designers in Zurich. Since then it serves as a platform for transnational network and research projects, exhibitions, video and web productions on the current social, cultural and political transformations. Before this background new forms of collective knowledge production and representations are tested in transdisciplinary settings. Zwischen 1998 und 2002 erschienen 5 Ausgaben des k-bulletins: «k-bulletin is the irregular publication of Labor k3000. Every issue reports about specific topics and tries to initiate debates around critical cultural practices.
k-bulletin is not limited to artistic practices and includes everyday life experiences, music, fashion and media, as well as theoretical discourses. Every Fanzine focusses on one main issue, which is choosen and edited by one or more members of the Labor k3000 group. The format of this publications changes from issue to issue. Usally the k-bulletin issues are related to specific events and projects.
